TAP Fund (Trimmer Assistance Program)

ANOTHER BENEFIT FOR MEMBERS BROUGHT TO YOU BY MEMBERS

The Trimmer Assistance Program (TAP) was developed by concerned trimmers/members and the final draft was approved by the members, thus becoming effective at the July 2008 - Hoof Trimmer’s Association (HTA) Conference held in Alberta, Canada.

This program is designed to assist any hoof trimmer who becomes ill or hurt and is unable to work for a moderate period of time and is an active member of HTA. TAP has the capability of having a qualified HTA trimmer or team of trimmers come to your area and assist you by doing your work while you recover. The advantage of this service provided by TAP is that your clients would receive uninterrupted
qualified service and you do not have to be concerned about losing your clients due to illness.

If you would like to apply, contact the office at info@hooftrimmers.org or 1866-615-HOOF(4663) and an application will be sent to you. Complete the application, return it to the office and it will be forwarded to the TAP Committee.

Please remember TAP is not welfare and is meant to assist you when you really need it. The TAP Committee certainly hopes that no one ever needs this program, but it is here for you as an active member.
